blah blah logos blah

Logo design is not my favorite thing in life. I like typographic logos and enjoy making them, but when a logo involves an image I struggle because I am not the best at drawing.

I am currently working on a logo for The Lionheart Relay, a 200 mile run between Flagler College and Armstrong Atlantic University, the closest competing team in our Peach Belt Conference. The Flagler College cross-country team is going to cover the distance with 14 runners in a span of 30 hours on March 16th and 17th. Seven pairs of runners will complete 3 miles at a time on a rotating basis while the other runners rest in 2 accompanying vans. I am on the cross-country team at Flagler and I am super pumped to do this relay, so why am I struggling to complete the dang logo?!?

The team is using the relay run as the major fundraiser for the year. I am making flyer, posters, tshirts, and donation sheets but before we can start advertising I have to make this logo. 50% of donations will benefit the cross-country program and the other 50% will go toward the Peach Belt Conference charity of choice, The Make-A-Wish Foundation.

I just need to hibernate until I finish the project....and I need to start training, but that's a different story.

Here's the current rendition of my logo

Here is a draft of the tshirt

Until next time
